Two scholarships are generally offered each June by OPAC: 1) the most politically active chapter, and 2) the most politically active student scholarships. The application deadline for the 2011 scholarships was midnight on June 30, 2011. The OPAC board selects one winner for each scholarship.  Each year the scholarship winners have been announced at the OPAC reception held in mid-June in conjunction with the AOA House of Delegates meeting.  If you have any questions about these scholarships, please contact OPAC via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. These scholarships have historically been poorly promoted - via forwarded email chains - rather than usage of OPAC's website or AOA materials.
